Not able to update iPad Air 2 to iOS 13.6

iTunes thinks the update is completed, but the iPad just hangs at reboot. Progress line is almost all the way completed, but never quite finishes. I have tried hard resets several times. Can't restore iPad from iTunes because I can't turn off "find my iPad". Tried removing iPad from iCloud on my Mac, but iTunes still says "find my iPad" is on.

Updating my iPad 2nd generation to iPad OS 17 My iPad has been all night updating, showing only the Apple log. I have tried the reboot method recommended by Apple support, but my iPad just comes back on with the same Apple logo. I also tried to connect it to my iMac but it is not showing in Finder when I reboot it. What is the next step?
