2019 Macbook overheating when connected to monitor

I want to use my laptop at my desk but when I connect it to my monitor it start getting super hot and the fan get loud. Those anyone know how to fix it or do I have to send it in to Apple to get it fixed?

MacBook Pro 15”, macOS 10.15

Reset SMC by following the directions applicable to your MacBook here ➔ How to Reset SMC. If that does not solve things then-
Reset NVRAM/PRAM by following the directions applicable to your MacBook here ➔ How to Reset NVRAM/PRAM.
