I have a brand new Hitachi LCD projector. I have bought movies through iTunes and when I go to play them connecting my MacBook air to the lcd projector I get this message "movie can be played only on displays that support HDCP" It does not happy with every movie...some work some don't. How can I fix this?

Contact the manufacturer. Sounds like the projector you bought does not support HDCP. There is no magic that can work around that.
This is done to prevent people from making illegal copies of movies.
Does the Projector have an HDMI port, it's needing HDCP because of Digital Rights protection.
