Screen Protector on Macbook Pro (2020)

Good day!

I purchased a MacBook Pro and read many articles that people have keyboard prints and scratches on the display. I would not want this to appear for me, so I try not to carry the laptop by the lid, and for now I use the factory gasket that was put during transportation. I'm afraid that I might harm the screen by sticking the film, is this so, do you advise using it at all or just wipe them more often with microfiber?
