Anker 4 Port USB Hub not working

Personally, I think it's unlikely that you could charge an iPod from the hub if the hub is being powered by a power bank. Some hubs won't even provide power out of their USB ports even when powered by its own power supply.

If I had designed the hub for instance (which I didn't of course), I would specifically prevent the iPod from being charged via my USB ports, in order to ensure the hub had enough power for as long as possible.

Have you tried charging the iPod directly from the power bank?
