icloud backup restore failure

I wanted to restore my icloud backup then it says you have to delete all content to restore it, then I did and when I launch my "newly erased iphone" I asked for an icloud restore then it says there is no backup to restore while I really have a backup but I don't know why it did not recognize the backup. I hope you that you can help me as I have great memories in the backup.
