Pairing my iPhone using Bluetooth

Regarding bluetooth: How come I can't pair my iPhone to my Tesla any more? I used to be able to. Also, how come I can't pair my iPhone to my bicycle? (Don't get excited...the bike has electric shifting and I was able to use the bicycle app to connect to the bike to sync the thing, but it won't pair. Please help me.
