Cannot send Message

I get this message: "MMS Messaging needs to be enabled to send this message" when i want to send a Bitmoji to my non-iPhone friends. However, in the past I was able to send them emojis. So what changed?

In Settings, Messaging, the button for "Send as SMS" is enabled.

So what else do I need to do?

MMS, which you need, requires both the following:

  • Settings > Messages > MMS Messaging = “on”
  • Permission from your cellular carrier to use MMS. This may cost extra.
