Have reset network setting, switched on/off siri, turned off dictation, powered off iWatch 5( which works ok ) Microphone works ok with voice control...anything else to try before a hard reset?

No Go :( Siri activates then goes to the help screen, no sound is being heard when i give verbal commands. does work albeit slowly when on classic voice control, but not with siri...
Siri doesnt respond and reverts to the help screen on iPhone X.
