Broke while updating

I tried to update my iPad and ever since it won’t turn on. I left it for a few day’s and recharged it again and tried to force restart holding the two buttons and the apple symbol comes up and just goes for a second and then comes up again, it doesn’t this repeatedly till it dies. When I first did this after a few days it said I need to connect it to the computer which I did and it said needs and update or restore I chose update but obviously doing this didn’t solve my problem. At this stage I don’t mind restarting it but that thing hasn’t come up again.

If iPad isn’t responding, start with one of the following:

  • On an iPad with a Home button: Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
  • On an iPad with Face ID: Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the top button. When the Apple logo appears, release the button.

Note: If iPad still doesn’t turn on, or if it gets stuck during start up, see the Apple Support article If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t turn on or is frozen.
