Iphone 8 black screen after droping

Hi, my friend droped Iphone 8 completely on the backside and after that there was thin red vertical line on the right side and screen was visible for very short time and after that screen went black, looks like touch screen is not working. Is Lcd broken or lcd screen connector is dislodged and how much does it cost to fix it?

Dropped iPhone 8, screen has no cracks but slowly blacked out. Hello everyone, a few minutes ago I dropped my phone and the screen protector cracked, along with the screen itself having black lines all over. Over the span of a minute or so, the screen slowly turned completely black. Now whenever I turn on my phone, it's just the blacklight under a black screen. My question is, considering there are no cracks, is there a way to fix the screen without needing to buy a whole new one?

Vertical black line on IPhone 11 Hello, I recently dropped my phone & about a quarter of the screen on the left side is now completely black. There's also some discoloration on the rest of the screen, but other than that it's not cracked & the touch screen works just fine. I wanted to know if it was an issue with the LCD display or something more serious. If I were to buy a replacement for the screen, would changing it help?
