I’m not getting sound alerts for my incoming texts on my new iphone 11. I’ve restarted it several times and changed the sounds Any suggestions?

Thanks for your post! We understand that your iPhone does not produce sounds for incoming texts. Are the texts coming from one particular person or is the issue random? Does your device ring when calls come through? Check to see if Do Not Disturb is enabled.
Use Do Not Disturb on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
If the issue persists, make sure the your iPhone is not on silent.
How to put your iPhone on vibrate, ring, or silent mode
