Airplay "unable to connect to bedroom

Ive gone through the troubleshooting guidelines:

  1. turned on power
  2. reinstalled Homepod
  3. updated software for “home”

but when I go into apple TV and try and connect my HomePod it says Airplay "unable to connect to bedroom” and I can no longer use my HomePod for sound.

Also, when it was working I often had to go back in (Toshiba TV) and reset nearly every time I wanted to watch a movie.

Recently I updated to a new iPhone SE and this new error for Airplay is coming up and for the life of me I don’t know why. Thanks for any help.

HomePod, 13
