Mac book Air : 5G Wi FI channel. : 36 40 44 48

My MacBook Air running Mojave - frequently skips. above mentioned win channels. They intermittently come back but most of times they are not shown in system hardware report. This is more prominent when systems wakes up from sleep.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.15

Frequency hopping is normal with WiFi. That's by design to ensure constant connectivity.

If it is creating a problem, make sure you are only connected to a WPA2 secure WiFi connection.

XFinity and other networks without a lock icon are more prone to hacking and signal degradation.
