can I charge my Apple iPad Air 2 with Samsung 18W or 25W Adaptive fast charger?

About the Apple USB-C to Lightning Cable - Apple Support


does not look like that model support fast charging but you can likely charge it with the charger without damaging it though

iPad Air2 does not support fast charging; standard USB (5V) chargers of up to 12W are supported.


Whilst some Apple devices do support Fast Charging, those that do are compatible with USB PD (Power Delivery protocol) Power Adapters. A competing standard, known as QC (Quick Charge), as believed to be employed by Samsung devices, is not supported by any Apple devices.


Many QC power adapters will “fall back” to standard USB charging if they don’t detect a compatible device - albeit at a much lower charging rate than their published rating.
