Trying to update my iPad and it says I must connect to iTunes on my Computer. I don’t have a computer?! How can I update?

Use of a computer to is now unavoidable, but the PC or Mac does not have to be yours - that of a helpful friend or family member will suffice. Alternatively, if you visit your local Apple Store, the staff at the Genius Bar will be happy to assist you.
