Can’t reduce my iPad storage

I have followed all the procedures in the applicable support article to reduce storage. However, any space I save becomes filled with data labeled “Other.” In my 32 GB of storage, over 17 GB is categorized as Other. I can’t get into it to see what it is or what app it may be associated with.

You have some corrupt data on your iPad. The simplest most effective way to cure this is to backup your iPad, then restore it from backup. Choose either iCLoud or your home computer with iTunes to backup, then use this link to restore from the backup --> Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support

This works and I have helped countless people with this.
