No Service

Phone shows “no service” says an update is needed I can’t can’t update because “there is no internet connection” but my phone IS connected to WiFi and it shows the WiFi connection on the screen.

You need to update the phone using your computer. Use iTunes on Windows or Mac OS earlier than Catalina, Filer on Catalina.
