Deleting photo from iPhone

Does deleting a photo from my iPhone delete it from iCloud too?

iPhone 6s, iOS 13

Yes, iCloud is a sync service. If you delete a photo from your phone, it will be deleted on iCloud too

If you want to save space on your phone, Optimize iPhone storage:

tap on Settings
tap on your name/Apple ID
tap on iCloud
tap on Photo's
select Optimize iPhone storage

Brilliant thanks. I do wish it was device specific so I could choose to just delete it on my phone yet have it available in the cloud and on my other devices. Exactly for the storage problem.
