There is nothing wring with my internet connection. The update process slows down when it's 2 minutes left. Tried this several times, over few last days with the same result.
I am on MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2018, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports) with 15.15.5 installed. Any ideas, what can be causing the problem?

When downloading updates from Apple it is often best to have your mac connected to your router
via cable rather than rely on WiFi.
Forget about System Preferences> Software Update and download, as Luis recommends, the Combo Update
from here, https://support.apple.com/kb/DL2048?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US
Do not use the mac while it is downloading or any other devices that share the same internet connection.
Once it has downloaded double-click to install.
Download and run the 10.15.6 Combo Update.
Cant update my mac to 10:15.6. Error "The request timed out. Check your internet connection and try again".
