My iPhone 11 Pro Max gets hot and now I could observer a burn mark just besides the charging slot.

my iPhone 11 Pro Max has been reset once and repaired once by the service centre. Still there are few problems and the phone get heated few times in a day and also when kept for charging. Now I have also observed a BURN MARK just besides the charging point. I have already sent pictures to customers care. The customer care was to contact me last weekend and was to give me solution for my iPhone problems. But yet I have not got ANY response from either Apple company or customer care.

I want justice at the earliest

Because you used the word "burn" the only course of action is to contact support. However very often with some iphones the mark corresponds to your pinkie where the phone rests and can be caused by skin acid. Just saying.

This is a user-to-user technical support site operated by Apple, we can't expedite anything. What type of power adapter are you using and have you had an electrician check your wall outlet?

Replace your smartphone if you will it is giving you a problem, as its more than $1000 phone then do not take any risk.

Hi thanks for your suggestion. I have contacted support team many times. The customer care team SEVERAL times the Service centre also once. After all these I observe that the phone get heated many times a day and every time while charging. But customer care says that is no problem it’s common in all iphone. I have see the mobile heating temperature reaching 40.5 degree. I fear sometime that my iphone may explode. Already a burn mark is observed too. I need help from some higher authority of the company.

Aziz I have spent more than $ 1600 and the problem have started just within 10 days. And now it is more than 7 months and customer care in India are telling me there is no problem in the phone and that heating is a common thing in this IPhone 11 Pro Max mobile.

Yes Peter it’s getting very hot to 40.5 c I have recording on the temperature thermometer. But the customer relation person in India feels that that is common in all iphone while charging. And that too my phone is just 6 months old and the problems have started from first month only. See the BURN MARK photo. I would not like to post the video at this point of time. But I have sent few imp videos to Customer care. But without any results.

It’s a new Phone and original adapter. The burn mark is just besides the charging point on the left side. Photos and phone getting heated videos are uploaded to customer care.

Thanks Peter. I have once already repaired my iPhone 11 Pro Max from Iphone service Centre. However I have made a complain to the customer care and am awaiting their reply since a week now.
