Health Activity Sources not including data from 3rd party apps

A couple weeks ago the Activity section (Move calories) of the Health app stopped recognizing a couple of 3rd party apps that I use for workouts - Garmin Connect and Seven. Both are fully enabled under the Privacy settings in my Health profile. These apps previously sent activity data to the Health app, but that has stopped working. The only "data source and access" listed for Activity is my Apple Watch. Other Health categories, such as "Workouts" show my watch, Health, Connect and Seven as data sources. I can manually add Activity data but it also doesn't register against my daily move goal nor do the calories I add show in Activity. Am I missing something to turn these missing sources back on for full data access? I've tried deleting the Garmin app and reinstalling, turning off/on apps in the privacy settings, restarting the phone, etc.
