How to clean charging port?

This is gonna be a tough question to answer.. you may want to google it. Note that I am not a representative of Apple and I'm just giving you my opinion.

From my personal experience, when I would get pocket lint or whatever else in the charging port.. I would very carefully use a wooden tooth pick to try and pull the debris out. I think I even had to shave the toothpick down a tad with a knife to make it narrow enough not to wedge in there. I would NOT stick anything metal or wet into the charging port. something skinny and plastic would likely work as well.
