How Pause Kids Devices - ScreenTime

Most parental control apps allow you to hit one button to pause your kids device, like when they mouth off or something.

I don't see that feature with ScreenTime?

Hey garywi

It looks like the "Downtime" section of the "ScreenTime" settings is your best bet...it might initially take some manipulating, but after youre done with the initial setup of "DownTime", you should be able to simply hit "Activate/Turn On" and your child should have limited to no access for the period of time you decide!

So, no...I dont believe there is one button from the get-go, but this may in the long run be more efficient and effective for you.

Hope this helps.

To pause a child's device all you need to do is tap the child's picture at the top of the parent's app. Then their picture will change to show you that the Pause is enabled, and you can tap the picture and play button again to unpause the device.
