iTunes Match: matched tracks cannot be downloaded
I had a trial subscription to Apple Music but, not finding it of much use, cancelled it. Before cancelling I paid for iTunes Match, as this was the one part of it that was of any use.
Since then, though my iPhone has no problems, my iPad refuses to download some tracks, i.e. any that are shown as "matched". For one album in particular (originally ripped from CD) some of the tracks are listed as "uploaded" and others "matched", so only the former will download.
Steps already undertaken.
- Rebooting the iPad.
- Turning music sync off/on.
- Signing out and back in to iCloud on the iPad.
I'll not be wiping and restoring the iPad. Is there any other fix for this?
