Will the new Macbooks with ARM-processors support popular Mac games such as Final Fantasy 14 / XIV?

I'm wondering if I should invest in the 2019 which would be the last Intel-based Macbook line (Pro 16") or wait for the ARM-based ones in a year or two, but just wondering if my favourite games will be supported on it, or rather how Apple from its own end will support games being compatible.

mac models hello i recently heard that new macs not using intel will be released soon and i have only bought my mac 6 months ago which is still somehow new. Should intel-based mac users be worried that new macs are coming and new features wont be available for us? and will the new macOS big sur work fine with intel-based macs?

Other than what was announced by Apple at the last WWDC, it is pure speculation.

It would be up to the game developers whether or not they remain compatible. If you need a computer now get a computer now. If you don't need a computer now, wait.
