I am trying to import a file of a song from my laptop onto my iPhone and it isn't working?

Is the song in iTunes? Are you auto syncing it?
Im trying to drag it from my laptop to the phone but when I do nothing at all happens

I haven't done ringtone in a long time, you can use Garageband and convert it to a ringtone, use your favorite search engine to find out how. I suggest DuckDuckGo since it is private.
