iPhone SE 2020 Bluetooth problems

My new SE (2020 model) will not maintain a bluetooth connection to my car kit.

I have used an iPhone 7, 8 and 5S all previously which have all maintained a rock solid connection.

However the SE disconnects itself after being paired and connected, and any music played back via the phone to the car kit, is stuttering and jumping, very disappointing.

I can only assume there is something with the bluetooth chip or settings in the new SE which is problematic - please look into this for us all Apple.
