macbook keyboard doesn't work

My 12 inch Macbook was working very well by this mont.(Aug.2020). When I tried to use it from the sleep, keyboard doesn't work. I rebooted, however as I cannot type my password, I cannot use it.

(Also, I cannot do SMC and PRAM reset because of no working of keyboard.

It happened 2nd time in this months.

Does anyone have same problem?

MacBook, macOS 10.15

Hello yumikonyc!

It seems like you are having issues with your keyboard not working after waking your device up from sleep. Let's try to get your keyboard working once more. Do you have access to a second, external keyboard? If you do, are you able to use that to log in?

Do you see any errors or other messages on the screen? Did you have any Bluetooth accessories that were connected prior to your Mac going to Sleep?

Can you let us know what exact model of the MacBook you have (for example: MacBook 12-inch 2017)

Have a great weekend!

Hi VW_1 !

After setting up no password login from the sleep mode (automatically login), it has happened.

Mine is Macbook 12 inch early 2015 model.

  • I don't use external keyboard and mouse.
  • After long shat down, it works normally. ( I can login with my keyboard)
  • I don't see any errors and messages.
  • When I tried to type my login password, typing mark(like xxxx) doesn't show up. blank
  • I don't connect any bluetooth accessories.

If you help me, it would be great!

Thank you in advance
