I'm trying to re-download all my itunes purchases in mp3. I have my Apple ID, am a PC user. I can view all my purchases to some extent, through different screens in itunes but there doesn't seem to be an option to download my music.
Apple sold DRM protected music up until about 2009, perhaps a bit later in some regions. If you have content in 128k Protected AAC format you can burn it to audio CD and rip back for a small loss of quality. Alternatively you can use a subscription to iTunes Match to upgrade these tracks to Matched 256k DRM-free versions. Apple Music content can only be used within Apple's ecosystem.

If you've just unhidden some hidden content close iTunes and then reopen. Your library should show download links for any unhidden purchases not currently downloaded.

So, I've done this, and also restarted the computer. But still, with the exception of only a couple of albums, none of them are available for download. I can play them, share them, like them, but not download them.
So, I am noting your language "not currently downloaded." These files I need to download, are downloaded, I just need them in a different format. None of my players support m4p. Is there a way to download already downloaded files again, in a different format? Thanks...
I've followed the directions. I'm stuck here:
