Apple watch activity logging too many burned calories

My apple watch activity keeps on logging too many burned calories. As of right now, i’ve walked 300 steps and done no workouts, but apple watch still says that i’ve burned 4000 calories! I’ve tried to restart both my watch and iphone, restart the whole activity data and tried to log a new workout session so my apple watch will understand that it’s not possible for me to burn this many calories. Nothing is working. What seems to be the problem, and how can i fix it?
