Recent calls showing on other devices

My recent calls, are showing up on my husbands phone. We are using the same Apple ID, but have for years and we’ve never had this problem. My children’s calls are also showing. And this isn’t one way. My calls and my children’s are showing up on my husbands phone as well. I have tried everything I have managed to find on how to keep this from happening, other than giving everyone a new individual Apple ID. We have family sharing. I’ve disabled ICloud Drive, iCloud back is off, turned off hand off, maid sure calls on other devices were turned off made sure everyone’s phones were able to receive and make calls on their numbers only, cleared all recent and missed calls multiple times... it’s very frustrating that it’s still happening. I’m not sure what else to do... please can you help?

Others have posted the same problem. Apple IDs aren't meant to be shared. The only solution I know of is for each person to have their own Apple ID.

If 13 years old or older.

Apple ID - create a new.

Apple ID – Create

If under 13 years old, you will need to set up Family Sharing to create an ID.

Family Sharing and Apple ID for your child.

Family Sharing.

Family Sharing - Set up.

When changing to the new ID, there may be some data loss, but you can minimize it. If syncing photos with iCloud, ensure Optimization is turned off in Settings/Your Name/iCloud/Photos and/or in Photos/Preferences/iCloud. Then make sure full resolution photos are on the device/computer. When signing out of iCloud, if asked whether you want to retain data, choose yes. Messages conversations will be lost if they are addressed to the ID. See the article below for other places that the old ID should be removed. See Winston Churchill's response in the below discussion. Also set up Family Sharing between the IDs to keep access to your apps/purchases.

Set up - your child’s iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

I am surprised that you have not had such problems before.

Depending on you circumstances, some devices could be reset to factory settings. For example, on an iDevice, you would use What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201351. Then, you would set up new Apple IDs using Set up your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202033.

And, for some Apple IDs, you could use Eric Roots thoughts about creating a new Apple ID. Below, in my way of presenting this idea, is what is involved. I emphasize that all of what I say is covered one way or another by Eric.

See How to create a new Apple ID https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204316  and

See the data implications below.

Some of these things may apply even though not changing an Apple IDWhat to do after you change your Apple ID or password https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204071

Keep in mind that some things available under a first Apple ID will not be available under a new Apple ID. For example, you won’t be able to transfer anything purchased from the App and iTunes Stores to the new ID. And, there are other issues to be addressed.

And see what Eric Root says on this matter here  https://discussions.apple.com/thread/251483565 and

what Winston Churchill says about it here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7452747

But, despite any other data loss you can set up family sharing between the IDs to share purchases made with them. See:
