Apple Numbers Pop up list removed when clearing cell content

Hi, i have recently noticed that when i delete or clear cell content, pop up list attached to it gets removed as well. It is extremely annoying. I don't remember this happening before. I assume this happened with the recent update. Is there any other way to clear table context without removing pop up lists? Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Hi TYM,

Tested in Numbers 10.0 under macOS Catalina.

Click on the first Pop-Up (A2 in this example) and choose None to show a blank cell.

Copy that cell, then select all the Pop-Ups in that column. Paste.

All the Pop-Ups show blank, but the Pop-Up format remains.

Regards,

Ian.

Hi Yellowbox,

i appreciate you reply! I always start with blank however my issue is a bit different. The photo below shows a pop up list set to cells A1:10:

it starts with blank. Now lets say i have a much longer list and i want to clear them all at once. I will normal select the cells and delete them when on mobile and clear when on mac as shown in the next photo:

so when i click delete on mobile or clear cells on Mac, both remove the content and the pop up list to. The only solution at the moment is to set them all to blank manually which is very annoying if you have a long list. The coming photo shows the pop up list removed after i cleared cell content:

i dont remember this happening before to be honest. I think its a recent update or a bug, hopefully a bug though.
