iPad storage

I was looking at my iPad storage and saw that my photos were using 16.31 GB so I deleted over 3,000 photos and videos and it’s still saying it’s using 16.31 GB. I tried restarting it but it’s still saying the same thing. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Did you look in the recently deleted part of your photos? Deleted images can linger there for 30 days I think
