Issue With Storage On My iPad

Recently, I noticed that my storage was filling up on my iPad when I wasn't downloading anything. When I went to my settings, it said that about 8 GB was photos but I only have a couple photos and a few videos at the most 3 seconds long. Most of all, it said 15 GB was taken up by "other". I have no idea what that mean or how to clear that up because now my iPad (6th gen) is really slow and delayed from the storage issue. Can anybody help me know how to clear away the "other" storage or clear the photos glitch?
