ApplePay said ID Verification Failed. Then Restricted Me.
Hi, My Apple/iCloud ID is ************ and about a year ago I set up an ApplePay account on my iPad and verified my ID via my drivers license. I've been using it almost daily for nearly a year and just recently it asked me to verify my identity again. So I went to go verify my identity and it kept saying verification failed. After a couple tries it said I was restricted (from too many attempts I'm assuming). So I called ApplePay support and spoke to multiple greendot/applepay senior tech supports to no avail... I would wait 5 business days, call back, and it would get unrestricted but still ask for ID. After then being told by senior tech supports to just "try again", I was in the same situation of being restricted from too many failed attempts. My Drivers License isn't expired, none of my info has changed, and it's the same one I used when I originally verified my identity with ApplePay... After then having no success with multiple calls over a 3 week period, I was just told to make a new account and try again... Obviously that didn't work, and when I called back I was just given the go-around again, and no absolutely 0 helpful answers, and was pretty much left out to dry...So I'm just tryna figure out whats going on...and get my ApplePay capabilities back up and running...
