Export resize problem
When I export a zoom call I've edited (either as a master file mp4 or 1080 apple devices) the screen is resized. See her name is cut off below (the one from the FCX viewer is below that)

Hi Tom! I started a new project and imported one clip 640 × 360.
I used both master file and 1080p on export.
The first image is in quicktime. The second is in the FCPX browser (edit window).
In the export window, it looks like its sized right, but on playback in quicktime, it is cropped.
What exactly is the frame resolution of the original clip? What did you do? Did you put it in a project? What’s the frame resolution of the project? What export settings did you use?
What’s the first image you’re showing? What application is that? The second image is the FCP viewer? What an i looking at, the clip in the browser or the clip in a as project?
If the media 640x360 make a project which is that size. It’s widescreen, but you seem to be putting it in a PAL non-square pixel aspect ratio project, which probably isn’t anamorphic. FCP can’t automatically create a project of the size of your media. You need to make a custom project.
Make a new project with the custom size 640x360 and copy/paste the content from the original project into it.
Gotcha. Is there a way to resize it now… I have spent the last hour or so editing and don’t want to lose all this work…?
Tom I hope they let you sleep in between answering all our questions… You have been very helpful and I appreciate it…
That worked!
