How do I lock screen
This iPhone 8 has not been backed up in 9 weeks because I don’t know how to lock screen. Can you please explain how to lock screen so backup will happen? Thanks.

The screen locks by itself when not used. See “Wake iPhone” here. Basically you can force the iPhone to quickly lock by pressing the same button while it’s unlocked.
