Silent mode
My silent button when not in use is still putting my phone in silent mode

Based on what you stated, it seems you are experiencing issues with your iPhone's silent switch, and we'd be happy to look into this with you.
Does the issue persist after restarting your iPhone normally?
Also, make sure your iPhone is up-to-date on software. When you navigate to: Settings > General > Software Update do you see any available updates?
