Return policy

I purchased a new iPhone and a leather case from Apple. It turns out the case is not the appropriate case for the phone. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize this until I opened it. Can I return this, despite the fact the package is opened, seeing it hasn’t been used? Regards! TIA.
