Spam filter not working on iOS

The Message filter in Settings for the Message app doesn’t work. I’m on the latest version of iOS iPhone X. Can anyone help? Apple to fix?

My iPhone 11 is receiving a lot of spam text. I’ve turned on iunknown message filtering but I still get spam My iPhone 11 is receiving a lot of spam text. I’ve turned on filter unknown numbers but it hasn’t routed theses obnoxious messages to another folder. I want to stop these messages without constantly using the “7726” option that reports the m but I don’t really stop them. 7726ses like a joke. Need some technical solutions

Unknown sender filter is only for iMessages.

Please use third party apps from App Store for SMS/MMS
