My desktop mail will not pick up my spectrum mail, it say it is offline. When I send my password , I get a message that says, unable to verify name or password. I am not having any trouble getting my spectrum mail on my phone or I Pad

My desktop mail will not pick up my pectrum mail, it says it is offline. When I send my password to log in to my spectrum account, I get the message, Unable to verify account name or password. I am only haveing this problem on my Desktop apple computer. I am still able to recieve my spectum e mail on my apple phone aand I pad. any suggestions?
