Want to see other things I can do with it.
I have seen people getting OS X on a super old Apple TV, but of course, that’s not allowed.
So what are your thoughts on turning this Apple TV into something else? Is it upgradeable?

Apple TV (2nd gen)
An Apple TV 2nd generation is now considered an antique. It is not upgrade-able and is hardwired for the content it can receive. If you want a more useful device, please replace it with an Apple TV 4K or Apple TV HD model that can be used as a gaming device, that has the App store which means access to thousands of apps and can also be used as a hub for home automation.
It’s only the Gen 1s that can run OS X, right?
