mac mail is receiving only PART of my mail messages, just the images, not the text portions. help!! This just started. It's only on my imac (2011 computer running high sierra), messages are fine on my phone and macbook (on catalina)... but I use the imac full time for work. How to fix??

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode?
Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches & loads safe Drivers, & prevents loading of 3rd party extensions, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.

Thx for your help. I eventually fixed this by deleting and then reinstalling the problem mail account. All good !
