Water resistant iPhone

Hello I just got splash of water on my xs max and it switch off till now and it should be “water resistant” as you mentioned, now could you tell me what I have to do ?? Also I have iphone X and it slipped from my hand into sink just for couple of seconds but it restarted but the face ID now is not working and the phone is restarting many times per day

anyone can tell me the truth about iphone features ? Am I need to buy different company phone because I’m disappointed right now

Please see the following article about water resistance: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT207043. "Splash, water, and dust resistance are not permanent conditions and resistance might decrease as a result of normal wear. Liquid damage is not covered under warranty, but you might have rights under consumer law."

Apple is not here and does not read or respond to any posts here.

We aren’t losing a customer.

You should also be aware, no phone manufacturer covers water damage on any of their phones either.

liquid damage is not covered by the warranty. There is nothing you can do but to turn them completely off for a few days an hope they dry out completely.
