Full storage

My storage is full & certain things aren't working due to that reason. Therefore I deleted some apps & that seemed to work but my storage was still quite full so I proceeded to try to delete some pictures and videos off my camera roll but it doesn’t let me delete any. They just stay there after I press delete.
