OS X could not be installed.

Hi.

After erasing my 2011 Macbook Pro, I am presented with a OS X utility page every time I power it on. I have tried re-installing OS X however, I end up with a message saying 'OS X could not be installed on your computer'. I have tried doing this multiple time and have also tried inserting the installation disc that came with the laptop but this didn't work. Please see the following image.

Any advice on how to fix this would be appreciated.

Thank you.

MacBook Pro 13″, OS X 10.11

In order to proceed may require an erase. Depending on what level

this may erase entire Mac drive contents; or only portions thereof.
