Air playing iPad to tv Pixelated blacks. Darkness scenes in movies are awful.

When air playing movies from Apple TV app on iPad to 4k Sony x950g, the image quality drops in dark scenes. The blacks are blotchy and pixelated. How do I fix this? This seems to only happen with HDR movies which I can’t turn off. It automatically lays in Dolby vision even though my iPad can’t do 4k.

AppleTV 4k Flicker in Dark Scenes I think many others have had this issue but I haven't seen a good solve for this. When watching movies on any streaming app on AppleTV, when there are very dark scenes we see flickering in the dark scenes. It's become very distracting and consistent across Netflix, ATV+, HBO Max, etc. I thought it was a Dolby Vision issue but it happens on Dolby Vision, 4K HDR, etc. And I have a new AudioQuest Cinnamon 8k-10k 48 GBPS HDMI cable going into a new Sony A95K TV. Oddly, I've noticed zero flickering using the same native apps on the Sony TV. So it must be an AppleTV issue. I've tried unplugging the AppleTV, restarting it, etc but it still comes back. Anyone have any good resolutions here? Thanks!

Apple TV app pixelated on Sony Bravia Android Tv I can’t play the Apple TV app on my Bravia tv. The picture becomes very pixelated/unwatchable. No issues with internet, all other streaming apps work fine. One work around has been to limit to SD but still some pixelation occurs. Have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling app, still occurs. Any thoughts?

2022 Apple TV 4k picture extremely dark. I upgraded from Xiaomi MI box 4k to the Apple TV. Apple TV picture is extremely dark. If I swop just the unit on the same hdmi cable same tv settings, same app , same series, there is a vast difference in clarity. During day time viewing Apple TV is almost frustratingly dark.
