can we purchase the apple care after 1 yr warranty

Can I purchase Apple care+ after my initial 1 year warranty given by apple? Or do i have to purchase Apple care + when my MAC is under warranty period which is 1Year.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

You have only 60 days from initial to purchase AppleCare PLUS.

You definitively cannot buy AppleCare+ after one year has passed.
