My ipod

So I buy the ipod off of someone but their stuff is still on it and they are long gone so i cant get the info so not knowingly I get rid of it and delete the account but I dont have the receipts or anything like such of the ipod since I purchased it second hand so how do I get past the setup screen without their info?

I’m sorry but it’s a brick. That’s the activation lock and since it’s a theft deterrent system there is no user work around


all you can do is responsibly recycle it (you can drop it off at an apple store if they are open, or perhaps authorized service provider, and if you are in the US I believe Best Buy will also take them for recycle....or you can mail them into apple to be recycled)
